MMI question: Reading data
Relative and absolute risk
A leaflet says a new tablet cuts the risk of a heart attack by half. The trial found that 8 in 100 people on the old treatment had a heart attack over five years, and 4 in 100 on the new one. Is the leaflet accurate, and what would you tell a patient?

What this kind of station tests
A table, a graph or a leaflet handed over at the station, where the mark is for what the candidate does with what it does not say.
