University of Oxford in its own words
Shortlisted candidates are invited to at least one online interview, and Oxford says interviews are expected to take place in December. Each applicant is interviewed by two colleges: the college of preference or allocation, plus one other assigned at random by computer. Oxford's Medical Sciences Division says the composition of interview panels is arranged so that every candidate is interviewed by at least one practising clinician, and the university's guide for applicants says interviews are typically conducted by two tutors, although there may occasionally be more. Oxford does not use the term 'MMI' or 'multiple mini interview' anywhere in its published material.

Oxford gives a month rather than a timetable. Its medical school's key dates for 2027 entry list shortlisting decisions in late November, interviews for medicine in mid-December, and final college decisions in mid-January 2027; the university's guide for applicants says shortlisted applicants will be invited to online interviews in December 2026. What the medical school also publishes is the structure: each shortlisted candidate is interviewed by two colleges, the college of preference or allocation plus one assigned at random by computer to equalise as far as possible the strength of the applicant field at each college, with at least one practising clinician on every panel. Colleges interview blind of college of choice or allocation and of UCAT score, then rank all candidates they have seen; only after disclosure of the second college's rank and the UCAT score (including SJT band) do colleges submit a final ranking.
