Newcastle University in its own words
Semi-structured panel interview (Newcastle's own words), conducted by two admissions selectors, lasting approximately 20 minutes, held online via Zoom, usually in February or March, scored across six domains: preparation and motivation, effective learning skills, team working, personal qualities and resilience, interpersonal and communication skills, and empathy/sensitivity/integrity/professionalism. Newcastle does not say whether this is an MMI; the term does not appear in its admissions policy.

Usually February and March, online, in a semi-structured panel format lasting approximately 20 minutes and conducted by two admissions selectors from the School of Dental Sciences. Candidates are scored across six domains: preparation and motivation for dental school, effective learning skills, team working, personal qualities and resilience, interpersonal and communication skills, and empathy, sensitivity, integrity and professionalism. Interview times are released online for candidates to select and Newcastle advises booking early. Unsuccessful shortlisting decisions are normally communicated by March, and all applicants are normally contacted by the end of April.
