Newcastle University in its own words
Newcastle states that interviews for Home A100 and A101 applicants generally take the form of Multiple Mini Interviews on campus. Applicants classed as International for fee purposes are generally interviewed by a panel of two interviewers, either on campus or remotely. At an MMI each applicant is scored at every station by an individual selector; in a panel interview the same categories are assessed by interview questions and scored by each selector separately.

For 2027 entry, interviews for Home A100 and A101 applicants generally take the form of Multiple Mini Interviews on campus; applicants classed as International for fee purposes are generally interviewed by a panel of two, either on campus or remotely if more convenient, with both formats asking a comparable set of questions. Each applicant is scored at each MMI station by an individual selector, and the UCAT Situational Judgement Test band is folded into the final interview score with the same weighting as one MMI station (Band 1 = 5 points, Band 2 = 3, Band 3 = 1). The final decision weights the academic screen score and the interview score 50:50.
