Swansea University in its own words

An assessment day rather than a named interview format. Swansea says the assessment consists of 3 x 20/30 minute face-to-face stations and may take the form of interviews, presentations or role play scenarios, and that candidates may be questioned on the content of their personal statement within one or more of the stations. The stations are conducted by a trained panel of clinicians, academics, medical students and members of the public, and assess communication skills, problem solving skills, coping with pressure, insight and integrity, passion for medicine and resilience to succeed, organisation and research, and ethics and values. Swansea does not call this an MMI or a panel interview; neither term appears on the page. It reserves the right to change the format of stations and the competencies assessed between admissions cycles, without notice, and says further details will be confirmed in the invitation to interview.
