From Invite to Offer

Teaching you how not to speak like a robot.

A three-week programme for medicine and dentistry interviews: three live seminars, recorded guides and a bank of practice questions, built on what UK schools publish about their own interviews and what we know.

Not open for booking yet

Card payments for the interview programme are not switched on, so there is nothing to buy on this page today. Message us and we will answer anything before then.

When it starts

Open on the Monday, taught from the Tuesday.

Monday 19 October
The question bank and guides open

Start working through the practice questions and the recorded guides before the first live session.

Tuesday 20 October, 18:00
The first live seminar

Then every Tuesday at 18:00 UK time: 20 October, 27 October, 3 November for the first cohort.

The three weeks

One kind of station a week.

Every multiple mini interview is made of three kinds of station. Each seminar takes one of them apart, so you finish having practised all three.

Stations about you

Why medicine, why here, what you have seen and what it taught you. The stations where the answer is yours and cannot be borrowed.

First cohort: 20 October
Stations that ask you to do something

Role play, breaking difficult news, a task against the clock. Marked on how you handle the room, not on what you know.

First cohort: 27 October
Stations about what you think

Ethics, the state of the NHS, a dilemma with no clean answer. Marked on how you reason, not on whether you land where the examiner would.

First cohort: 3 November

Cohorts start in different weeks, so the order you meet the three in depends on when you join. You always get all of them.

What you get

Teaching, a library, and a room to practise in.

Three live seminars

Taught live on Zoom, Tuesdays at 18:00 UK time. You answer, you get picked up on it, and you hear how other people answered.

Nineteen recorded guides

Short guides grouped by the three kinds of station, plus the ones that apply everywhere: how an MMI is marked, how to time an answer, and how online and recorded interviews differ from a room.

A practice question bank

Questions across ethics, the NHS, role play, data stations and the personal ones, with model answers and the follow-up an interviewer asks when an answer runs dry.

A live mock, if you want one

A timed circuit of stations on Zoom with current medical and dental students as interviewers, and a station-by-station report afterwards. Mock circuits run from November.

Two ways to join

£195, or £295 with the mock.

Can you promise me an offer?

No, and nobody honest can. What this teaches is to answer in your own voice, under time pressure, in the formats schools actually use, so that the answer a school hears is the one you meant to give.

Is it for MMIs or panel interviews?

The seminars and the mock are built around the MMI. If one of your schools runs a panel, you can add the panel interview recordings for £29.99, and our free MMI or panel page shows which format each school uses.
