Worth knowing: A four-year Graduate Entry MBBS, run at the Magee campus in Derry~Londonderry with City St George's, University of London as partner medical school, and open to graduates from any discipline. The admissions test Ulster names is the GAMSAT: applicants need a minimum score of 50 in each section and must clear an overall threshold set competitively each year, and Ulster says that on 2020 to 2025 data the average overall GAMSAT score of candidates invited for interview was 59. For August 2027 entry it will consider sittings from March 2023 through September 2026, and may accept late UCAS applications from candidates registered for March 2027. Ulster's course page publishes nothing at all about the UCAT or its Situational Judgement Test, and neither is named anywhere on it. Entry also needs a 2:1 honours degree in any discipline or a Masters at 60% overall, GCSE English and Maths at grade C or 4, a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from AccessNI or other relevant authority, a medical declaration and occupational health clearance, and a pass at the Multiple Mini Interview. There is no limit on how many times you may apply, but there is a maximum of two attempts at the MMI: after two unsuccessful Ulster MMIs a further UCAS application is unlikely to be considered. Priority goes to applicants ordinarily resident in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Always confirm against the official page before applying, since this is the most recent published position rather than a guarantee for the live cycle.
