Dentistry interviews

Dentistry Interview Course

From Invite to Offer is one programme for medicine and dentistry. Dental interviews ask about things a medical one rarely does, like the dental team, how NHS dentistry is paid for and the GDC, so dentistry has its own questions and its own videos inside it. Teaching you how not to speak like a robot.

Dentistry's own videos

The dental team, the GDC and NHS dentistry.

These come in a dental version, made separately from the medical one. With the shared guides on every kind of station, a dentistry applicant gets 22 video guides for their course, released through the programme.

The dental team: dentist, hygienist, therapist, nurse and technician

Who is on a dental team, what each registered role does, and how they share the work.

The GDC and the Standards for the Dental Team

What the GDC expects of dental students and dentists, and how dental schools bring it into their stations.

The NHS for a future dentist

How dentistry sits inside the NHS and alongside private practice, and what that means for patients and dentists.

The GDC

What the regulator expects, before you are asked about it.

"The GDC and the Standards for the Dental Team" is one of the dentistry videos. Of the 62 dentistry model answers, 29 bring in what the GDC expects, from the principles every registrant works to, to raising a concern in the dental team.

The same for both courses

Live seminars and content mocks.

3 live seminars

Taught live on Zoom, Tuesdays at 18:00 UK time. Medical and dental interviews test many of the same things, so medicine and dentistry applicants are taught together.

5 content mocks

35 stations in 5 circuits of 7, 4 minutes each, with the dental version of a station where there is one. You answer out loud with your device's dictation, then mark the circuit against the model answers.
