Worth knowing: Exeter anticipates interviewing approximately 800 applicants in total on the standard UCAT route, and runs a separate GAMSAT-based graduate-entry route that anticipates approximately 800 of its own. The two totals describe different competitions and must not be added together. Exeter has 10 places available for international students, which it says equate to approximately 30 interview places, so the international cut-off score may differ from the home one because of the separate quota. Extenuating circumstances are handled through a dedicated online form rather than the personal statement or reference, neither of which Exeter reads for evidence of mitigating circumstances, and the form must be submitted by 29 October 2026 to be taken into account before interview selection.
